The uncompromising harsher electronic nature of PROGRAMMABLE FUTURE might take listeners with some surprise considering that it was written together with artist and producer Daniel Brandt. The upbeat sound of the album can be explained by the fact as the material was written for consideration by the EBM/Dark Electro/Industrial act Neurobash. The material was not used by the band, but Daniel Brandt later worked together with the band as a producer for a number of albums between 2009 and 2014.

Some of the material was originally released as bonus EP by Daniel Brandt in 2006 and was a companion for the retrospective release EDITABLE PAST with the title PROGRAMMABLE FUTURE. The release was signed Daniel Brandt who was the lead singer for the project.

The new version of PROGRAMMABLE FUTURE signed Oberfunker is released through Dose Response Recordings under the title DESIGNED DESTINY.
